We’re excited to announce the promotion of Victor Robinson to Investment Director and the appointment of Lindsey White Benefield as Fund Manager for InvestMS, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to strengthening Mississippi’s innovation economy and expanding access to capital for high-growth startups.
Victor Robinson has been promoted to Investment Director, where he is responsible for growing and managing the Mississippi Angel Investor Network and its associated angel funds across the state. In this role, Robinson will continue to oversee management of the Mississippi Seed Fund, supporting early-stage technology and innovation-based startups as they prepare for growth and follow-on investment. His leadership will continue to play a critical role in building a robust investor community and expanding Mississippi’s pipeline of investable companies.
Lindsey White Benefield serves as the Fund Manager for InvestMS, which will continue to be housed at Innovate Mississippi. In this role, Benefield drives program strategy, fund design, and multi-state coordination for State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) activities. She serves as the primary strategic liaison between Innovate Mississippi, Yellow Ventures, and Southeastern venture capital partners, providing strategic oversight and alignment across capital-readiness strategy, ecosystem integration, and investor engagement efforts.
