In entrepreneurship, community and collaboration are critical for success! Innovate Mississippi’s CoBuilders accelerator is designed to empower startups and entrepreneurs by providing the tools and resources they need to thrive. Entrepreneurs can enroll in CoBuilders by participating in one of 8 regional pitch competitions in the first half of the year. Selected companies proceed to the main CoBuilders accelerator, where they benefit from valuable insights from seasoned mentors, connect with potential collaborators and investors, and receive guidance across various facets of business development, from product ideation to market strategy.
CoBuilders is a partnership-enabled initiative that would not be possible without the support and efforts of our 8 partners spread across the entire state of Mississippi. These esteemed partners include the Oxford/Lafayette Economic Development Foundation, Higher Purpose Co., Mississippi State University E-Center, The Community Development Foundation, JSU/The Bean Path, MSU E-Center Vicksburg, Mississippi Polymer Institute, and The Meeting Place.
Together, our partners host a regional pitch event where a minimum of $7500 in cash prizes is awarded. Entrepreneurs selected to pitch at these events are automatically considered for inclusion in the main cohort. This main cohort consists of up to 10 companies, each receiving a minimum of $25,000 in the form of a SAFE investment. Moreover, participants benefit from invaluable mentorship and gain access to resources that significantly enhance their entrepreneurial journey.
