Mike Morgan is currently an Instructor in the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University. Prior to joining academia, Mike served as President of Bomgar Corporation, a software development company in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Mike spent eight years at Bomgar Corporation, having joined as Chief Financial Officer when the company was in the start-up stage. At the time of Bomgar’s sale to TA Associates in early 2014, Bomgar had offices world-wide and its award-winning software was being used by many of the most recognizable names in technology.
Prior to joining Bomgar, Mike served as Chief Financial Officer of several technology companies including American Healthtech, Trinsic, Inc. and Touch One Communications. Mike is a CPA, having started his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen & Company. He has advised multiple start-up companies both as an investor and as a mentor. A native of the Jackson, MS area, Mike and his wife Tracy split time between Clinton and Baton Rouge.
