Lend Casey Combest your ears for an hour and he might convince you to stay in Mississippi. The owner of the Jackson-based BlueSky Studio new podcast “Made in Mississippi,” which launched this month, is one-part motivation and one-part retention tool.
The show features interviews with notable Mississippians, including Joel Bomgar, founder of the tech company Bomgar Corp.; Mark Henderson, who opened the state’s first brewery Lazy Magnolia with his wife Leslie; and Kristen Ley, who owns the Thimblepress letterpress studio in downtown Jackson. Four episodes have been released so far with five more tucked away for a feature release.
