Free Energy Efficiency Workshop in Starkville

InnovateMEP Mississippi announces that the Energy Efficiency and Combined Heat and Power Stakeholder Meeting and Workshop will take place Thursday, February 19, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in Starkville at the Carpenter Mechanical Engineering Building on the campus of Mississippi State University (MSU).

Energy efficiency is an important, but often overlooked mechanism for cost savings in the industrial manufacturing, commercial and institutional sectors. This free meeting and workshop will offer attendees the knowledge needed to evaluate energy consumption patterns, increase the efficiency of operations, and implement on-site combined heat and power (CHP) generation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the MSU Micro-CHP building and the on-campus power generation system.

Manufacturing operations managers, facilities or building managers, energy efficiency professionals, utilities staff, and business and policy decision makers in the industrial manufacturing, health care and academic sectors are encouraged to attend.

This event is hosted by InnovateMEP Mississippi, Mississippi State University and Mississippi Development Authority – Energy and Natural Resources Division.
